What Is Worth Doing

What we do for others is what is truly worth doing. Giving our time and our hearts, and noticing needs that few people around us see. Tanzania — or, more precisely, the mission — reminds me of this every day. The red earth and a life full of contrasts change the way we think and approach our daily lives. Poverty that is plain to see, and the feeling of helplessness when I cannot always help or do not know how. Children’s outstretched hands, and the youngest struggling with the daily unfairness of life. This is the village where I live. Thank you for being here, for your support and for your prayers for us. A world that is different and beautiful, diverse and full of contradictions — all of this is captured in one word: MISSION.
