This is Buhemba from a bird’s-eye view, with beautiful views of nature. Buhemba lies 1,520 metres above sea level. Mornings can be very cold, while daytime temperatures reach 35 degrees Celsius or more. The air is dry, so it is easy to breathe and go about the day comfortably.
A Busy Morning
Yes, it is true: Buhemba is far from the main road. To get here, you have to take a sandy track that becomes muddy during the rainy season. See for yourselves what it looks like, but to experience its scents, you have to come here.
